VERLAG HANS HUBER, HOGREFE AG

The wide range of scientifically validated assessment tools published by Verlag Hans Huber, Hogrefe AG covers all areas of psychological diagnostics.

Our authors are leading experts in their particular areas of expertise in the German-speaking area, and we pay particular attention to ensure our tests meet the highest standards of scientific quality, as well as usability, up-to-dateness, practical utility and economy.

The cornerstone for the Verlag Hans Huber, Hogrefe AG was laid in 1927, when the company gained the rights to the Rorschach Test, known and used throughout the world until today. Since then more than a hundred other tests have been published, some developed in the German-speaking area and others that are German-language adaptations of internationally significant tests – the Wechsler intelligence tests being a prominent example. Most of our tests are available in both paper-pencil and convenient-to-use computer versions. Our first online test was EXPLORIX®, a tool for exploring career choice and planning, launched in 2002. Many others are now also available online.

For reasons of quality assurance our tests are supplied only to authorized test users, via the Testzentrale der Schweizer Psychologen AG and the Testzentrale Göttingen. Our catalogue containing detailed information on all our tests is also available there.

The Verlag Hans Huber, Hogrefe AG is also an internationally recognized specialist publishing company for psychology, medical science, nursing and other healthcare professions. Besides its test program it also publishes books and journals, and is one of the leading publishing companies for tests in the German-speaking area as well as the leading specialist media enterprise for the health-care market in Switzerland.
