It was with great regret that we have had to cancel our annual conference for the first time in ETPG’s history. This is obviously die to the Coronavirus pandemic. Oleg and his team in UKraine will now host our conference in 2021. Meanwhile we hope all our members and their customers stay safe at this difficult time.

New Members join ETPG

We’re delighted to welcome Facet5 and Alta as members of the ETPG. They’ll be attending our 2020 Conference in Kiev, Ukraine. They join four new members who joined in 2019: Pearson France, Pearson Benelux, Pearson UK and psi Talent Measurement.


We are proud to announce that the President of the Board of ETPG member Pracownia Testów Psychologicznych – Aleksandra Jaworowska (PhD) was awarded the  “Meritorious for the Polish psychology” (Zasłużony dla polskiej psychologii) distinction by the Polish Psychological Association.  The award ceremony took place on 16th October 2019 in Warsaw.

Dr. Jaworowska is listed among most eminent figures of the Polish psychological community.

Our 29th Annual Conference was held at the historic Hotel Slon in Ljubljana, Slovenia. It was hosted by Dusica Boben and her team at Center za Psihodiagnosticna Sredstva D.O.O. 40 delegates and five speakers attended.

The agenda reflected issues which are affecting and can be influenced by psychology in general and psychometrics in particular: rapid developments in technology and increasing links between psychology and technology: changes in European demographics; the evolution of academic and applied psychologies;  global  developments from global warming and environmental degradation to mass migration.

Ian Florance, Executive Director of ETPG, contributed to a panel discussion at the European Congress of Psychology in Moscow during July 2019. This was on the future format of the EFPA test reviews, and how this can be used more widely. Ian is also an observer on EFPA’s Board of Assessment and attended a meeting in Moscow to contribute comments made by ETPG members on test reviews and how they could be made more useful.
